Windows Media Player Not Transmitting Image to TV

Hi:

Till two days back I was able to watch movies from laptop on my home TV (they are connected using a S-Video cable). Since yesterday the movie has stopped transmitting from my laptop to the TV but I can see rest of the things in the TV (i.e. TV is acting as the monitor but the movie is missing).

Some times for a few seconds the movies shows up and then disappears.

Does any one what could have happened?
