Avi Video Gets Stuck While PLaying

Pagal Munda Guest Yo People, I got a couple of videos on my computer that i downloaded of the internet. these videos are fine except that the get stuck at a particular point while playing,and you have to manualy move it with the slide button which is ok but when written on a cd it get stuck at that point and does not go furthur. i really need those videos on vcd can you tell me what to do?
