Musicluva97 Im not alowed 2 tel u my nam Guest | Look, Im only a 10 yr. old but i know how to help you! More than 200 people are having this problem. When things come from over the sea sometimes they can scam you. I also have a pink Mp4 player and a couple hours after i got it, everything said disk error! So I eventually fixed it. Here’s what I did: You plug in the Mp4 player to your computer then you go click on my computer, double click on the icon for your Mp4 player and perform a quick format. This fixed mine and it works PERFECTLY. I hope it helps you.

Mae Guest | Hi, Ive been reading the soultions from this site. I have just tried re-formatting my MP4 Player {Conet}. I had read to do this if you are receiving Disk Error Messages. The quick format worked, to remove the error. Now there is a problem with the Sub-Menu’s stating that there are not any files, after the initialization, the message comes back No files. That is also with the Music Menu, AMV, Record,Voice and Photos. Setup and Games are the only sub-menu’s that have data / information in a sub menu.
Any Idea what this may mean? Other than I have probably wiped out all the systems data?
Also, Media Player won’t pick up the device. Cannot sync muisc to the player. Actually I cannot find, any PC Based program that will allow music to be transfered to the player.
Any hints of a fix, or fixes for these issues?

Mae Guest | Well Windows Media Player picked up the player. I tried dragging a song to sync to the player. The song did not transfer. A window popped up with this message below on it.
- <DeviceInfo>
<WMP DeviceID="{DF41E17A-3BF3-4263-A80A-4DECD8F4905E}" RelationshipID="{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}" />
</DeviceInfo
I would try to update the firmware version, however when I looked there are not any, updates loaded in My PC system to do this.
I am not sure what is wrong. I still get no files in the sub-menu’s??? Help Please. Anyone.

TUNJI Guest | I RECENTLY BOUGHT MY SONY MP4 MP3 SV-885 PLAYER, AND IT SUDDENLY DEVELOPED A PROBLEM, PLEASE I LOVE SONY PRODUCTS VERY MUCH AND I DON’T WANT THIS ENCOUNTER ON MY RECENT MP4 PLAYER TO MAKE ME STOP USING SONY. ITS ALL ABOUT INTEGRITY ON THIS PRODUCT. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD KINDLY SEND ME ANOTHER SONY PLAYER OF THIS SAME MODEL.
THANKS FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED RESPONSE.
Yours faithfully,

nandupalazhi Guest | I try to download some video clips on to the SONY MP4 player and saved the clips as .AMV files. But, when I try to view the clips there is an error showing “format error”. Any idea what that means and how can I resolve. The original video clip was viewed on Windows media player from where I saved the file as .AMV file.
