Lucy Guest | I just downloaded a video, it says its an avi file but the name says “dvdrip”. How can I play this on the computer? I can’t with windows media nor divx.
Also, is there a way I can burn it to a cd and later play it on my dvd player? it has divx.
Thanks for the help!!

Black Sabbath Guest | If the file is within the 700 MB then you can burn it normaly on CD, then watch it at as a normal media file, try the SLD codec and you can use its Classic media player to view the file, if the file is more than 2 GB then its probably a DVD, then you should use a DVD player, after burning it on a DVD black CD.

you will have to convert the avi file use 1 of these full versions so you dont get water marks through your film
1.dvd santa
2.winavi 7
3.Apollo DivX to DVD Creator
when conversion is complete burn to dvd better quaility than cd -vcd or like black sabbeth said you can watch it useing Classic media player get that free here http://www.free-codecs.com
