Codec problem “XVID”

Everything seems to be alright. I am able to play most of all of my .avi files. There were some mkv files that I have and so I decided to download the codec. After I installed the mkv codec and continue to watch my .avi files using Divx player I recieved a message saying:

Video Data: FOURCC code “XVID”

It seems that it did not recognized the existing code.

I need help on this. Thank you ^_^
