MOV 2 MPEG1

I use EditDV to edit my MiniDV clips which is in the QuickTime format, .MOV

But in order to burn these to a VideoCD, I need to convert to MPEG-1 first, right?

Is there a decent converter, or is anyone in a similar situation that can offer some advice here?
