For JonasB, your mvs converter 2.00 is for a 1,8 screen? I thing that is for small sice of screen and for that the video compresed not display correctly, the solucion was to found one mvs converter whith the compres activated for 1,8 screens. Any one know if this exist or whats the web for the mvs converter???
Thanks
for the tft 1.8 you can use the mvs multimedia convert 2.02 for 1.8tft although the compression item does not activated, the compression is set to zero when you choose simplifed chinese or english to install. this means that the vedio will not distort when you play in your mp4 player.
if you want to use in english interface, you can copy the user.ini provided from joanSB and replace the file under the X:\program files\mvs multimedia convert for tft1.8\
then you can use english interface
for the mvs multomedia convert for tft 1.8
the software can be downloaded this link:

My problem is when i insert sd card it is beeing recognized, i can tell by the “c” sign on screen but i cannot read or write to or from sd card.
Can someone tell me how to access sd card data?
thnx
In other MP4 models, pressing on the menu for a few seconds will shift to the SD Card. Pressing it again for a few seconds will shift it back to the internal flash memory.
I think this may also apply to your mp4 player.

How do you enable the compress thingy? Its greyed out and can’t be changed at the moment (mvs converter 2.00).
Get the “MVS Converter with Compression Level Enabled.zip” file from our downloads section at www.rocksoftonline.com
Post here if you find it useful.

That really depends on your mp3/mp4 player model. Some models allow you to browse folders, most do not.
But even if you can’t browse folders, some mp3/mp4 players allow you to play songs by folders.

Hi, try formatting the card in fat only. Not fat32. That will do it.

I got the same problem, for the same model, for no reason it went to format mode, then all the icons gone, the SD card can’t read any more
anybody knows about a way to recover the firmware ?
Even without the Icons, can you still play mp3 songs?
If yes, the firmware is still present. The missing icons are attributes of the Language. You need to find the menu to install your font and then set your language to english, and all icons will be back.
You just need to do trial and error on all menus and sub menus, since you cant see them

Yes it’s probably not compatible, better get the files posted here by other members. Download file size is around 18MB.
For the english patch, it should work with any version. It doesn’t alter any core files, just the language. So I don’t see any problem with this.
I’ll try to see what I can do about making the file size smaller when I find the time.
Cheers!

THANK YOU for the help. Yes, it plays mp3! so... where i can find language file? the list in the menu is empty, so i think that with formatting i’ve deleted it!

It’s embedded inside the firmware
You just need to set it even without the menu showing icons visible.
If you look at your screen, you will see the scroll bars moving up and down when you press your main muen button. You just need to use trial and error and get into the “Language” menu (this would of course be easier if you have another player to compare where the scroll buttons are positioned), after you’re inside the “Language” Menu, you need to find the “Install Font”, once you hit this, you can now see the menu and choose english language.
And all icons should be back.
