I just bought a MP4 player from China. But I MVS convert 2.02 is not working properly where I cannot convert the *.wma file to *.MVS file. Do you have any idea where I can get the MVS convert 2.02 from Yaziz (moyazbira@yahoo.com.my)

Hey Jeroensk !
Did you find an answer to your question cause I think I have the same type of player as you (http://stores.ebay.com/TinyBooth_MP3-MP4-Player) and I really would like to know if there is a newer firmware for that player. Really hard to find on the web... Let me know if anybody have an idea !!!

Hi all

First I want to ask you all to don’t send personal emails. People with the same problem can’t see the answers if everyone get a personal message. So place all answers in this topic!!

Here is the MVS converter 2.00 if anyone needs him:

http://rapidshare.de/files/14545873/MVS_Multimedia_Convert.rar.html

The code is inside the RAR file

A problem with MVS is that the files become very great after converting. Download Super converter:

http://www.erightsoft.com/home.html

After installing open it and then you can convert your movie files into a lot of other files :P (don’t know how to explain: other formats like avi, mpg etc.) choose the lowest video scale, FPS etc. Your video file isn’t so big anymore. After that you can convert it to the “real” MVS file.
After opening the MVS converter push on “SET”
there you choose the following options:

Video/audio: 800 Kbs 8 fps
Compress select: level 3

after the converting you can see that your MVS files are smaller than the avi, mpg files.

If you want to know what your firmware version is,
you have to look in MP4 player. Look at disk tools or something like that. If you need the firmware, you have to look on the site of the MP4 player
(normally the sitename is written in the information guide you get with the MP4 player)
Hope you can use this information AND PLEASE don’t send personal emails :P and sorry for my bad english i am from the netherlands grin

Hello,

Now I have tested the mvs tool 2.02 and 2.00. None of these are any good regarding to compression. I desperatly need a tool to compress video for an 1.8 inch mp4 with sd slot player. Using the 2.00 tool distorts and noises the video. regardless of what.
Any way of opening the compress levels in the 2.02 tool? Any help will by very welcome...

Thanks

Michael
