MVS video for chinese mp4 players (+lost icons and firmware)

Please help...I’m on the verge of throwing away this so-called MP4 player I just bought online. Oh, it plays music files so well. But video? Not at all so far.

This player only runs MVS video files. It doesn’t recognize any other video files with the exception of AVI. But whenever I try to run an AVI file, I get a “file format error” message.

The installation CD only comes with an AMV converter. Unfortunately, the player can’t run AMV files.

I downloaded the MVS converter and the translation patch from Rocksoftonline’s site. When I tried running the EXE file, all I got was a gray empty window. No text, no pictures. How am I supposed to use it?

So far I haven’t gotten my hands on an MVS converter. If anyone has one, please send it to me. My email address is gideoner4@yahoo.com.

hi, I’ve a mp4 mvs whit a slot for “sd card”, the problem begins when I introduce the sd card into the slot, the memory of the mp4 come erase; the mp4 recognize the sd card, but I can’t acces to the sd card information from the mp4. could someone helpme whit my problem? thanks.

Good news. Found a link to the MVS Multimedia converter.
Software to convert AVI to AMV or MVS for those china mp4 player can be found here

My player can record in WAV format, but Windows just cannot read it. Tried iTunes, Windows media player, winamp - all unsuccessful. Any ideas?

Hold centre button down for 2 - 3 seconds when you have sd card in place.

I’ve MP3/MP4 player, i’ve connected the player on PC for usb storage end my system in the player is deleted... Wher can i download the firmware... all pictures in menu is deleted.
After test, the bios of my player is Sunplus Multimedia Disk storage.

Hi, I bought a MP4 player off ebay but as it is in Japanese I cannot work out what format it plays movies in! I have tried most and they do not work. COuld it be MVS? If so could anyone let me know where I can get the software?

I bought a mp4 player but i was disapointed because i found no mvs videos on internet and no converter!!I got a converter with the mp4 but i did not have the serial number!!!
Fortunately I found it on that forum!!!The software works very good and it is not very hard to use but in chinese!!
It takes me a time to understand it but now i can use it and enjoy my mp4 with great pleasure!!
Without that forum i could not have use my mvs converter that why i made a manual to send it to you with the software to thank you all to help people who need it!!!

I’m live in Brazil and have a Mp4 on the mark “Orange” from china, but he don’t load Imagens of menu and don’t load Pictures and thessarus of the CD.
More, he convert Movies for extesion MVS, but the movies will big size.

Why can how do download other version the Soft MVS Convert Media for my Mp4

i bought a chinese mobile. i read it will play mp4 formt. i used all software available to convet the videos to mp4 but the mobile is not playing playing. it says invalid file. please please kindly help me with any convertsion software
