Error reading VOB files

I have this unprotected dvd and I want to make a copy but in every program I get it stops at 93 percent and displays a message saying error reading VOB files. I have no idea what this means and I would like to know if there is anything I can do to successfully copy it.

theres an error reading the disc, either its dirty scratched or faulty in some way.

try cleaning it, try ripping with dvdfab decrypter or isobuster.
