Premiere 1.5 Pro and Xvids in the timeline

hi, I have xvid installed and the status window in advanced/debugging is off —

I can import and *monitor the clip in premier pro 1.5, but when I drag to the timeline & play nothing appears in the sequence monitor

suggestions??
