Kate Guest | Well, first of all this site ROCKS.
I’m trying to play an AVI file on my Windows Media player and I just downloaded DIVX. I can finally see the picture! Problem is that the picture quality isn’t that great. I’m not sure if it’s not just the file itself, but I read on the DIVX site that I need a DirectX 7 or 8. Would getting that improve picture quality at all?

Kate Guest | Just as a side note: After posting my last message I tried playing the file in the DIVX player and got a green screen. After reading the “green screen” posting series (or at least part of it) I uninstalled DIVX and got 3IVX. The picture quality in Win Media Player is still crappy. What should I do?

TopsyTurvy Guest | The best way is 2 get s many media players s possible. If 1 turns out 2 b unsuitable 2 watch, then change it 2 another 1 that is better or dl all in 1 codecs pack.
