Is there any way to convert video files into iPod-ompatible version without an Apple pc? I’m using Windows XP. I heard that mp4 works with iPods, which is an Apple trademark. Is this true? Thanks smiley

I need help with this too. I want to put long movie files like anime episodes and stuff on my iPod but I can’t find a good converter. ImToo has a converter for this, but the trial version only lets you convert up to 5 minutes of video. Here’s the link:
http://www.imtoo.com/ipod-movie-converter.html

However, when I tried converting some music videos with this program, I found that the audio and the video were not synced exactly (lyrics didn’t match the lip movements).

So, does anyone know where to find a better converter (better quality and more than 5 minutes)?

ImTOO’s DVD Ripper Platinum works like a charm. It converts DVD’s to a ton of different file formats, one of them being MP4. In fact, it even has a tailor-made conversion setting specifically for the video i-Pod. As far as how long it runs without registering, I have no clue. I registered it before even using it the first time.

Of course, you could always look for a key generator for the program, and then it would be free and without time limits. I’m not condoning illegal activity by any means (because utilizing cracks and keygens has the same effect as stealing the software from the store), but I’m just throwing the idea out there. Heh, not like we all haven’t burned music CD’s or anything illegal like that.... Do what your conscience tells you, if you have one, that is.

i just got my 5th video ipod last month, i’ve searched in different forums and google and have tried several differenct

programs, like pq, imtoo, xlisoft, cucusoft etc, for those who are looking for an easy to use solution and willing to spend

some money, i’d like to recommend you use cucusoft DVD to ipod video converter suite,it can not only rip dvd to ipod but also

can convert almost all kinds of video files in your hard disc, it’s an all-in-one solution, it works perfect for me.From

experience, only cucusoft can convert all my dvds (around 60), some others have trouble to recongize my

dvds.http://www.allforvideo.com/download/iPodSuit_r56510.exe
