Problem during TV Capture

Hi Frnds,

I was capturing some program from tv using my TV capturing card. Which I do very regularly and there was no problem. Suddenly today, when I tried to stop the recording [ capturing ], I got an program error [ I did not noted it, Sorry ] and my system got hanged. So I was forced to restart my system. After restarting I was unable to read that AVI [ normally every TV capture will save as AVI files in my syystem ]. I got the following error

“Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file”

I think some kind of end of file was not properly marked.

Can any one help me how to solve this issue. That program was a local program which used to be telecasetd very rarely.
