hertag Guest | I recently just dl’ed a movie and I’m a total newbie at this. The moment I opened the folder, it had 4 more folders: CD1, CD2, Sample, and Subs. In the CD1 and CD2 folders there are an estimate of 31 .rar files and files that end with .r30 all the way to .r48. I tried extracting but there was no sound in the file. How do I watch the movie in its entirety and how would I put it on a DVD?
In desperate need of help. Thanks.

Marcus Aurelius Guest | It’s a long story but anyway: Select all rar’s from cd1 and extract them to desktop or folder and you’re going to get a big file depends by the title of your download: Xvid means is a avi in Xvid format or a pair of cue/bin files ready for burning on cd.Do the same with cd2.Before you start playing the avi go to this site and download the basic collection of codecs and players: Any pack from All in One or K-Lite or XP Codec, DivX, Xvid and players like VLC, BSplayer and Media Classic. For audio AC3 filter is an add to DirectShow and is a must to have it.Also tools like GSpot and Avicodec are good to find out the type of avi you have and what codecs you may need.If your file plays ok sound and picture on pc go to the next step and get yourself a video converter, the easy one to use is VSO DivX to DVD and works with Copy to DVD made by same company.Load the cd1 and cd2 avi’s on VSO DivX to DVD click on the plus in front of your file and add subtitle if you need it just check what language is and Google for subs in your favorite language in srt format.Check your video system NTSC or Pal and click convert. If you have a dvdr inside your burner is going to tell you when is done. Here is a link for codecs and some tools: http://www.free-codecs.com/
