Converting WMV To Any DVD Player?

Dumb Blonde Guest I DL several music videos WMV a friend made and was wondering if there’s any way possibe to convert them so as to watch them on a DVD player instead of WMP ? I have Nero and VSO but from what I’ve read, they won’t do this. Thanks in advance
