denodigital Guest | I was able to burn my footage on a CD-R as an “.avi” file and take it to my other computer, which is hooked up to the Internet, and play it in Windows Media Player; I saved the file to my hard drive, then tried to attach it to an E-mail and send, but it took forever for Yahoo to attach the file to my E-mail; its a 6 minute, 14 seconds movie with sound; the file size is 62.4 mb, which, according to other video clips I’ve seen (and have saved), is too large; there is this one movie/video clip that is about the same length as mine, but when I looked at it’s properties, it’s only 2.6 mb; how do they compress/zip those files down to that size; many videos that are either on sites that host them or are ones that someone send me are small files, but some are 10 minutes long; when I check them out, it does not take long for them to upload and play; what do I need to do to get the same results?
