hi,

im jsut getting to grips with the whole codec business! i have downloaded a program which conts alot of them think its ace something! but i got my films to open but they are really jumpy? is there anything i can do to improve the quality? thank u

more info? media player you are using? any codecs installed? pc specs? there are many factors...

i recommend installing the latest DivX code (www.divx.com), XviD codec (www.xvid.org) and maybe an mpeg codec bundle (check into Nimo... 433XP codec pack). Try these codecs, if you still have the 'jumping', the problem certainly isn’t codecs.

another option would to be trying BSPlayer (a great free media player... google it)... it really is a great player with lots of format support...
