Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 15 Nov 2005 Posts: 1 OFFLINE | hey, i had an HP, then i got a new case with a new video card. its an eVGA 6600gt.
now everytime a video plays, my computer will crash and restart. in ex: ebaums world, then going to a page with an unexpected video playing... it will automatically freeze. my computer played videos fine before i upgraded my computer. the funny thing is, is that my video card is very good when i play hl2.

Cawfee Guest | Hey Core, I am currently having a very similiar issue with my pc. I recently re-installed windows xp. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 7800GS and I can play todays most high graphics games and have no problem...but when I watch a movie whether its Windows media player or any video program, my PC freezes and sttuters and I have to restart. I have the most current drivers and i have the newest DirectX

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Try to install ffdshow or Satsuki Decoder Pack. Both have the MPEG2 Decoder plus more stuff. All from above besides a codec coleection like: All in One, DivX, Xvid, XP pack and for sound AC3 filter.
