If nothing else for now just copy them to a data disk unless they are over 650 megs... if so let me know what format they are in .. (mpg, avi, etc.) In any case Nero should copy them to disk no matter what form and if they are two large compress them. Need more information on the files.

For anyone contimplating downloading a Keygen program for any of these commercial applications, as a previous poster foolishly suggested, make damn sure you know what you’re doing.

A) You’re probably committing a crime.
cool As well as putting your computer at risk (ie. the files are probably laced with viruses).

http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/other/data/1026158289691.shtml

Once you download the program, select a file and chose 'Convert a File' in the lower left corner. Then choose the output type (for windows media player you need AVI). Make sure to check the bottom box to 'Convert Audio', otherwise the video will not have the sound. Then click 'convert file'.

hi all
i was looking for a program for mov to flash conversion. i’ve found this video to flash converter http://www.geovid.com/Video_to_Flash_Converter
i also installed quicktime alternative codec for successful mov conversion (read about it on geovid forum). and it did the job perfectly.
if someone need such a program, i advise you to try geovid.

This is better solution, this website has 1GB limit but no individual file size limit, which meets my needs. I was desperately looking for tools (tried 10+ tools) to downsize my 130MB MOV video, but every conversion to AVI file will grow the size to 20X the original size.

Once you convert your files, import them to windows movie maker and then go upload them to this site, www.LiveDigital.com. It’s a great way to share your movies instead of emailing them. I went to Europe last year and I took a bunch of movies with my camera, but they were all formatted for quicktime which doesn’t work with moviemaker. I used RAD Video Tools to convert them and then I uploaded them to this site to share with everyone. Go check it out, it’s awesome.

i have tried using the rivercrap, and it didn’t work.. i also tried using radtools and it caused an error when trying to convert .mov files to .avi and loading them in windows movie maker. i also downloaded windows media encoder, and that won’t recognize the .mov files either to convert them...

i would like to know how in the heck i can convert my .mov files off my kodak camera into other files, so i can load them in movie maker and tweak them.
