a31chris Guest | A SoundGarden Black Hole Sun video that was apparently pulled from someplace called Schill.homepage.com I can’t seem to get to run on my 200mhz Pentium with Media Player 6.4 and Windows 95. It doesn’t seem to require Divx, but some kind of Mpeg codec I don’t have. I know its not the CD or file because it runs fine on my neighbors computer, although his is way faster than mine.
I tried the VideoLAN but that thing doesn’t even work as good as Media Player 6.4. At least Media Player shows an image and a jerky picture for 2 seconds. VLAN won’t even do that. Just freezes.
I installed the Windows Media Player 8 Codec and can now play a lot of videos I couldn’t before that need Mpeg 4. Such as a Pearl Jam Jeremy video.
How can I find out which Mpeg Codec I need to run this video on my computer? G-Spot freezes up when I try to run it. |
