Deprave Guest | I recently burnt a few movies with Nero(cue/bin) onto CD-R, they play fine in VLC but when I try play them on my DVD player, I get a terrible vertical sync problem, the screen is just really shaky or won’t stop rolling, audio is fine. Any solutions to this? Any info needed to fix this, if possible, just ask.
Thanks ahead of time
(I hope I posted this in the right spot)..Or atleast where someone can help me, if not, sorry for making an ass of myself

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Sounds like classical video system problem. If your player works only one system NTSC for exemple and you burn the dvd in Pal the image is rolling.Pal has about 25 FPS and NTSC is around 29 FPS.

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Check your Nero whatever version you have for options before start burning and choose the right video system for your country. In Europe is Pal/Secam in North America is NTSC. If you’re not sure about it Google TV video system and check.

I found one that’s really cheap, but I’m not sure if it’ll work for what I want it to

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Looks like you’re Canadian.Anyway that Nova is sold out.I’ve seen at Walmart a dvd player Pal/Ntsc for $19. Buy for $19 and watch for the same price warranty at 90 days. Here is a link to Costco better stuff and longer warranty.A recorder is a better buy but as you see the price is still high. It’s going to be lower when the hd dvd player will be on market. http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Common/Category.aspx?cat=79

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Well tt your dirty mouth is not difficult to recognise it but this guy is Canadian too.Anyway if you want to buy one dvd player most of them in Canada came one system NTSC at least in my area but on the east coast might be easy to find one multisystem.Check the specs before you buy it or look on factory label for ntsc/pal or just ntsc. Also you can find converters from one system to another for dvd players but is not worth it if you don’t have a source of Pal dvd’s.Besides both systems you can see on it some extra like mp3,DivX,DTS,WMA,JPEG and so on the more the better.

BigPussy Guest | Dirty mouth is eveywhere nowaday..so it is not rare. Clean mouth is prehistoric. Now..let’s get back 2 the DVD issue. Canada is 1 damn huge country. Its consists of many racial minorities. 2 buy a multi system DVD player is not a problem. In Vancouver n Montreal..they sell both PAL n SECAM.
