No sound when playing the DVD!!!

Hello.

I have a movie encoded with XviD and it plays fine on my computer. Then i convert it to DVD format(.vob, .ifo etc.), then i burn the files to a DVD-Video with Nero 7.0.1.2. When i insert the burned DVD in my DVD drive and the autoplay function start playing the DVD with Media Player 10 there’s no sound, neither is there sound when i play the DVD on my stationary DVD player!!!

If insert the DVD in my DVD drive and browse to the .vob files and manually play them with Media Player 10 it’s working just fine with good sound!!

What i’m i doing wrong, how can i get sound on my DVD’s when playing them on my stationary DVD player?

Oops, forgot to mention that i converted the XviD encoded movie to DVD format with WinAVI 7.1!

I think you’d better check the settings of your dvd player. Such as check the target format (Ntsc/pal)...
