Intervideo dvd creator 2 video but no audio

Hi peoples, i have been tearing my hair out looking at all the forums i could find on the internet.

I can capture vhs to my computer using fusion much tv (i think that is what it is called). When i try to edit it using dvd creator 2 everything goes well - i can cut the bits out that i don’t want at that point i have video and audio. The second i put the segments i want to keep onto the storyboard i have perfect video but absolutely no audio.

Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong and better still tell me how to do it right using intervideo dvd creator 2. I am a bit of a dummy so step by step intructructions would be great.
