Burned DVD has no sound

I have download a video/avi file......I have try to burn it to dvd using dvd santa. It burns ok but I have no sound. Im not sure whats going on here......I can play it back fine on windows medis player. Can someone give me some info on what I should be doing?

Go to this page:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/The_Codecs.htm
and download and install these free codecs. Had the same problem you did and it worked fine for me.

1. Go to http://www.codecpackguide.com/
2. Download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
3. Install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
4. Convert the audio of your movie to a format your DVD player supports
5. Burn the DVD
Then you’re done!
