convertion wmv to mov

I’m trying to use some footage in Adobe Premiere, but alas it’s in wmv format. I’d like to convert it to .mov however I don’t seem to be able to find any converters specifically for wmv to mov....any ideas? obviously the wmv in on an Intel box, while my editor in on a Mac....

This may seem a long winded way but it should save you stuffing around chasing up software etc.

Open your movie in MovieMaker on your PC. Save it.
In File you have an option of exporting/ sending the movie maker Project file to your DV camera. (I will assume u have one) ie you are exporting it to your camera. Make sure it is being exported in the codec you want. DV quality, PAL/NTSC etc , 720x 576 if its PAL etc 4:3

MovieMaker then does it automatically for you and sends the file to your camera.

Once its in your camera its simply a case of capturing this footage back into your chosen application - Adobe Premier on your Mac.

I have exported a MovieMaker Project in wmv to the DV camera and from there captured it into another application - you should be able to do the same and capture it into your Adobe Premier.
