Neverwinter Nights Platinum edition + performance issues with a virtual DVD Drive

Hi!

I recently downloaded Neverwinter Nights Platinum edition, it came in the format of an MDF and MDS files.

I downloaded Daemon tools and created a virtual DVD drive, I then mounted the image and ran it. NWN installed fine, I ran the game and created my character, only to find that it was running extremely slow and was completely unplayable.

Please note this has nothing to do with my system performance, I have checked everything and my system is more than capable of playing NWN.

(I’ve also had NWN playing on my machine before fine, before I lost my original copy >.

I’m fairly inexperienced when it comes to creating virtual drives ect, so any suggestions would be welcome.
