I’ve been downloading and playing a certain series on my computer through VLC and I love that particular player. Now I’ve hit #16 in my collection and everytime I open VLC it says program not responding and I have to send an error report. The episodes before #16 work normally.
Now if I open #16 in Windows Media Player it tells me there are “Embedded truetype fonts”... but I still can play it. The thing is I don’t want it to play in Windows Media Player because it shows me subtitles whereas the VLC player doesn’t.
I just don’t understand why all of sudden it would stop playing at #16 and up! I’ve got the full Matroska Package 1.1.1.
It’s an MKV file... I’d really appreciate any help at all!

If I absolutely cannot fix the above problem... how can I disable the subtitles that seem to be embedded in the movie from playing? They don’t play on VLC but yet they play on Windows Media Player and the mplayer (the player that’s available to download of the Matroska website)
Thanks again!

mid_1961 Guest | right click your file and open with windows media player....once it is playing right click at the bottom....on the list that pops up, select play then another box will show, select cations and subtitles, and you can turn off subtitles there!!
