Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 07 Oct 2005 Posts: 1 OFFLINE | I have installed the Media Player Classic and wanted to load the subtitles for my rmvb video file but I got this instead http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4900/classic2mp.png
Do you know how to change the video renderer type for a rmvb file? I would really appriciate your help

bobarnas Guest | go to view - options - playback - output and check the video renderer you want. it says there which ones you need for subtitles to work.

Marcus Aurelius Guest | I had the same problem like you with Volver with Penelope Cruz, very nice movie but subs suxs. I’ve been trying VLC and Media Classic and BS Player with no result. A big help was to reinstall directx and all the codecs also a new version of subs for the same movie. All these players use their own codecs and play subs if you keep them in the same folder. If your subs are ok and work the player show you subs.

Just a guest with a problem Guest | Hey, how do i actually get the subtitles to display? I just don’t get it.. It’s an MKV file btw if that matters
