guys there is a new and easy way to convert your avi files to dvds all you need is an internet connection with at least of 2mb of internet speed. go on the follwing site and just add the video and it will convert it for you.

www.dvdrip-avi.org

if you have any questions please email me on bad_boy207@hotmail.com

Many thanks.

I use WinDVD and it works well! You may be able to find an open source program but for me WinDVD works!

Thats Not The Point. When You Have Got An .Avi File You Need To Convert It To Play On Your Dvd Player. We Are Not Talking About Buying Dvds Here.

the best way is to download dvd flick it is free and is easy to use. it converts the movie into mpeg and burn it on the disk but for that you have to create an iso in the option and burn it using imgburn you will get imgburn free with dvdflick

how can i burn .avi files in a dvd but not in a cd. I cannot burn it directly into a dvd. Is there any converter?
I used to download from the internet but there a water mark on the screen as it will only disappear when i purchase only. Is there any other converter that don’t need to purchase and no watermark?

Get Total Video Converter.
It is relatively inexpensive and will easily include the srt files and other subtitle formats including sub .ssa .ass .smi .psb .tex .idx.
It is VERY fast, and will import/export more video formats than most people even know about.
It is very comprehensive.

If you have a DVD which can play Divx, it can play AVI files also. Just burn the AVI file onto a DVD as data file. The DVD player will play the AVI files.

I use WinAvi and it does the job. You may be able to find an open source program on sourceforge
