I’ve downloaded a few movies using bitlord and they run fine on my computer but the codex isn’t recognized on my dvd player which does play .avi, dvix, etc. What do I need to do to the file to change it so I can enjoy it on the idiot box in the living room?

I had the same problem as everyone else with nero converting from avi to dvd. I found a solution that worked great. Download a free program called DVD Flick, you can just Goggle to find it. That will recode the avi file to TS format. Then go to the Re-code DVD-Video option of nero and upload the TS format of your video and burn your DVD to watch on TV.

I have an AVI that I had to download the DIVX codec for to enable playback on Windows Media Player. That portion worked fine, however I have been racking my mind trying to figure out how to get it into a playable format for my DVD player.

I have quicktime pro (so a converter program). The only issue is the DIVX codec only applies to Windows Media Player, and it will not play on quicktime so my attempts at converting have been fruitless. I assume because it can’t play initially on quicktime. Any thoughts on a solution?

I have read the forum and some questions/answers are great however one that i cannot find being answered was. .
" How do you put 11 avi movies onto a 4.7gb DVD disc " there is plenty of space but i cannot get it to load onto it without converting the avi into vob Format. I want all ***** 1-11 on one disc.

You’re missing " the big plot " pal. what are you? A puppet for Nero ? supposedly “vista compatiable” it actually creates loads of conflicts, for example that whole surrogate crash
