stuuremailaan-Erik Guest | Dear friends,
I hope someone will be able to help me. I havetried several things but keep experiencing the same problem. My DVD player (the one connected to my TV) won’t accept the DVD’s that I have burned (although its a DVD+R disk and the recorder requires that).
I did the following;
1. I have downloaded a movie.avi file
2. I have converted this file to 4x a .VOB file, 2x an .IFO and 2x a .BUP file.
3. I have fired up NERO burning ROM and picked DVD Video from the templates. This will create a VIDEO_TS and an AUDIO_TS folder. I have placed all files in the VIDEO_TS folder.
4. I have burned the disk.
When starting this disk in the dvd player (connected at the tv) it will tell me EMPTY DISK while it’s not. Can anyone help me figuring out this riddle ?
Muchos gracias !
Erik

Marcus Aurelius Guest | You did it right but to double check here is a Nero screenshot how to load it. Or open Nero Vision and load only vob’s in order 1.1 1.2 and so on.Before burning check if the simulation is a checkmark on it and remove it also choose the right video system Pal or NTSC.http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/207083

Spin Guest | I do it differently.
I convert the video to MPEG-2 (use Ulead MEdia Studio)
Then I use DVDLAB to mak ethe VOB files, menus etc...
Then burn it with NERO’s regular Movie template.
