I have installed the latest DivX pro and nothing hepls ((

but my advise — > use some other program -BsPlayer, DivXPlayer etc.

unfortunatley that is a very general error and can’t be pinpointed without some digging. even the M$ support site has no helpful info, go figure. the most common solution is to install the latest divx and xvid codecs (divx.com, xvid.org), but that isn’t a sure-fire solution either. screw M$ — use DivX or BSPlayer instead of WMP, use Mozilla or Opera instead of IE, hell, use linux or get a mac if can. ok i’m going a bit overboard, but isn' it the truth?

divX 2.5 helps. oh yeah...MS sux.

No, Divx 2.5.4 doesn’t work for me, it just hangs used up 100% cpu, it’s bad! still can’t resolve the issue.
