I have one noob and maybe stupid question..

I wanted to know can a resolution of a avi/mpeg/wma etc. files lowered.

example.
I have a movie that is 640x480 resolution and want to make it lets say 80x60 or 160x120? And would file converted to that resolution take less disk space then original?

I want to do all this to use that video files on my MP4 player as they have 1.2” displays only so I think resolution like that would be just fine for displays small like that.

Any tips or sugestions?
