I went to the site everyone is talking about to get the Audio Codec Tag 353. I download it, but I have no idea what I do after that. It doesn’t automatically install but asks what program to open it with. Any advice?

Sorry guys I don’t mean to be a pain, but I am having trouble getting this Tag 353 thing. I am doing everything that you say...but when I download the Divx 3.11 from the link that you provided - it will download it, but I don’t know what 'unzip' means and when I try to open it to install it, it says I need to pick a program and I don’t know what program to use? Am I doing something wrong...or is it my computer? If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your advice.

It works. I can not say I understood why, but it’s a fact: it works.

I had a similar problem, where I needed Tag 353. I went to
http://www.argon-soft.com/Download/Inne/divx_311alpha.zip, downloaded and installed the DivX 3.11. My audio file still didn’t work, until I copied the DivXc32.dll into the main directory of my DivX player folder. Now it works great!

Thanks for the link. smiley

The link that Bob gave worked fine for me to, in the beginning.
Then.. when I installed it, it said that it hasnt been tested on XP, and that I should quit the installation immediately.
So I need something else.. Please, would somebody help me?
