problem with MKV file

I downloaded an anime in mkv format. I’ve got k-lite codec pack installed which includes the matroska codec. When playing in MPC i get the following:


Media player Classic cannot render some of the pins in the graph, the following pins failed to find a connectable filter:

the the program “video Lan”(VLC) or find the codec call storm codec. either one should work just fine.

As Chillinoutz said, VideoLAN VLC can do the trick!

yes VLC doesn’t work on my .mkvs

I have found that with MKVs...click on the file, press F2, and delete the ".mkv” part on the end, and pressing enter, then opening it with VLC should work. Hope this helps!
