Burning WMV files--WONT WORK

GRRRRRR. Trying to create CD on Roxio. While trying to add an wmv file I get the following:
Not a valid audio file-will not be added — -WHATS WRONG? It is, by the way, an audio file — taken off of my mp3 player (a recording) any help would be appreciated!
