hi..I have a mac and ive tried multiple converters and none seem to work...@ @...even ffmpegx!...the program wont take my password....anyone have another solution?...a trial version or something...

For Mac users:

WMV Component from Flip4Mac. Download this free component from the Flip4Mac site. It places a WMV “player” in your Systems Preferences.

Spend $20 on QuickTime Pro and you will be able to open your WMV files direct in QuickTime itself. You can then save it a whatever format you wish to. AVI. MPEG4, 3GP for mobiles, iPod video format, etc etc.

Have been doing it successfully. Best $20 off bucks i’ve spent.

download iSquint... it takes .wmv and converts to .mpg. The free version (iSquint as opposed to something else) will do this. Great quality conversion, too.

I’m a user of it, it’s powerful and easy to use!
But it’s my personal opinion, you’d better try it by yourself

Nero disk burner will convert them as it burns a CD, but it seems that you can only burn a few to each cd because it has to convert it from wmv to a dvd player format which takes a lot of space.

Except WinAVI does not run on a mac.

What would be nice is if these programs would just convert the files without leaving a watermark/logo... Still, there are a few more listed there that I haven’t tried yet.

convert wmv to mpg, i personally use leawo video converter, it allows me edit video file like editing test file.
