Noob needs help with wmv files to dvd

I have a video on windows media player,its wmv, and i want to burn it to a cd-r so that it plays on dvd players, how do i do that? Im brand new to this so I dont know anything

http://www.videohelp.com/ Read the guides and get yourself a good video converter.To put your file on cd or DVD you have to convert it to that format and after convertion you may burn it.Download from this site GSpot and Avicodec both video analizers and if you open your file with any of these tools you find out details about your avi file.Try to play it on PC before start the convertion and if is working ok you may convert it.:
