I have successfully converted avi files to dvd image folder.

when I clicked on to burn.

the message pop up;

To insert a DVD-r or DVD-RW ,

But I did...

What am i not doing?

Please help.

Getting really confusing.

I am using DVD santa

I hope that is enough info.

I don’t use DVD Ho Ho Ho but you can try something.Exit any program insert a blank dvd in your burner and see if a window about blank dvd is going to popup or at least check in my computer if the drive shows a blank dvd.If it does your burner is ok if not check the manufacturer site for the last firmware.If your burner is ok maybe Ho Ho Ho is not recognizing your burner and this you can check with another burning software if you don’t have another one download a trial or demo and see.My old piece of junk Plextor 708A gave me problems like that.Here is a link about burner look for yours in forum and read.First step is to check your DMA setting.http://www.real-knowledge.com/dma.htm and if no luck go to this and look for your burner:http://www.cdfreaks.com/
