Burn multi .avi files to 1 DVD with menu

I wish to burn multi avi files to 1 DVD with a nice menu and perhaps some options for sounds/music in the menus.

I have a DVD-RW drive, with DVD-R discs.
I need to burn to a disc that plays on standard home DVD players with no loss of video/audio sync.

What are my options and what is the main software (freeware preferred) to use.

dvd santa will burn multiple avi files on one disk (free use google to find)

but if you want the menu music and get even more avi`s on the same disk you need something like
ulead dvd workshop. Have a look in forums about how to get hold of a copy of this for free (wink)
