labish Guest | It’s a long story so start with reading the most popular guides from this site and get familiar with softwares name and use glossary for types of files. http://www.afterdawn.com/index-menu.cfm To make it shorter first download the movie my advice in Xvid format smaller file and good quality and unrar the pack with WinRar and you’re getting an avi file in Xvid format.First try to play the Xvid file on pc sound and picture. For this you need some players for Xvid and a pack of codecs. My advice is go to:http://www.free-codecs.com/ and download free of charge VLC, Media Classic and BSplayer also any codec pack you like I use All in One and for sound AC3 filter is a must.On same site is a tool called GSpot or another one Avicodec both video analysers and opening a video file with one of them you get some video and audio details about your file and what codecs you may need to play it.If your file plays ok on pc you may go to next step and convert the file in order to make a cd (vcd/svcd format) or dvd (vob format). If you go with dvd, after convertion and here you need a video converter from Xvid to DVD,WinAvi or VSO DivX to DVD or TMPGEnc, you have a video ts folder and inside of it a collections of ifo bup and vob files. Some burning softwares work with the folder some you have to point to the vobs. Before wasting a dvd check your video system Pal or NTSC and burn it.Good Luck.

antilogicgirl Guest | Sigh. I have just downloaded some files, but VLC won’t play anything but the sound on some, and some it won’t play at all. I used Bit Comet as the client, and the file extension is .RAR . I read something about extracting files, but I’m not good with computers by any stretch of the imagination. How do I play the files? Hope you all can help me!!

labish Guest | Here is a link to WinRar:http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm download it and install it.After your download from BT is done you are going to have a folder full of rar’s file.Open that folder with WinRar select all from menu and extract to desktop or directory and is going to give you an avi file.If the folder is big is going to take some time to extract it and if is going to ask you after the first extraction that the file exist click on yes to all and wait.If you have GSpot install open the avi with and find out the type of your file and look for whatever codecs and players you need at the link provided in my prev post:http://www.free-codecs.com/

antilogicgirl Guest | Actually, I am having another problem now.
I extracted the folder to the desktop, and it is listed as a winrar archive, now. The file extension is .ISO , and I’m not sure what to do with it now.

labish Guest | Nice guys around here eh? Iso or bin or img are image files for cd’s so if you want you can burn them direct on cd.Bin is coming with a cue and to burn it point to the cue and is going to burn the bin.If you don’t want to burn it download Daemon Tools and read the tutorial how to use it is not very complicated.DT is going to open your iso file and if is a game you may install it or a movie you may play it.Any image file can be open using tools like Magic Iso, Isobuster,Ultraiso,WinIso and so on.Just Google all from above and download the one you like.
