cannot open any folders in my pc

hey
i m having trouble my pc. plz help me.
i cannot open any folders in my pc whenever i click on anyfolder the close dialog box comes up saying 'windows explorer needs to shutdown then blabla bla...' then it restarts.

plz help me

Hi, I had the same problem as u do/did. I could not open any of my folders, including My documents, My Computer, My Pictures, Control Panel, etc ( as long as they are in a folder) but I could open Microsoft Word, Excel, paint, etc then use these applications to open my files from these folders.

Anyway, I downloaded Stopzilla! (Pop-up killer a few weeks ago and then somehow I deleted the application, or it expired the initial trial period.. (can’t remember which 1)...anyway, I then downloaded Stopzilla again, and then, I could miraculously access ALL my folders again!

Stopzilla is a great pop-up killer but I dun know what went wrong.. anyway,now I’m SOO relieved. Just recall what u downloaded and u deleted and maybe it can help u.
