burning films to 700mb CDR

hi guys. total noob here... can anyone explain how i can burn films bigger than 700mb to a CDR so i can view them on my dvd player (u can watch any type of file on my dvd player)...

problem being most films are bigger than 700mbs..... or is there a program where i can split films in half over 2 cds? ie split a 1mb film over 2 700mb disks???

The only way you can do this is to use DVD shrink and that is the only way.
Sometimes a disc of 700mb may take more but mostly will take to that amount..as i said use DVD shrink it’s your only hope.
