Virtual Dub
TMPGEnc Plus
TMGP DVD Author
NERO Burning ROM or Nero Express
However, when I try to open my avi file into Virtual Dub, I get this message:
Cannot locate decompressor for file format MP43. VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows codec....
I did a little reading on it to see what it was but don’t know what to do to get around it. Is there a simple way to burn an AVI file to a DVD? or tried and true method?

colin8 Guest | There is another easier way that I have come across to burn your avi/divx/xvid/etc movies. If you download DVDSanta, it does all of the converting and burning for you. I highly recommend it.
