Black Sabbath Guest | guys...these movies that i downloaded needed a vodei multi processor....so i downloaded it and every thing went ok...till the bug reminder came up and kept telling me to register....then i installed another version of the codec......i found the files dont play any more and it keeps asking for the Vodei MP althought it ia already setupped!!......what should i do

lilrifraf666 Guest | ...also be forwarned, if you do install this vodei program, if you uninstall it, it will mess up your computer’s ability to play any video’s that were playable previously. I was sucessful in returning my computer to its original state by doing a system restore to a previous restore point. Avoid this vodei program !!!

Now Vodei MP with version 2.0.
Some movie need ver2.0 or newer !
Vodei MP2.00 or newer required to View at start up of movie !
solution at http://www.vladd44.com/video/vodei.php is not working
Even after i follow procedure reencode it without the Vodei garbage :still get only the message Vodei MP2.00 or newer required to View at start up of movie !

Do the following.
Uninstall vodei.
Download and install DVDSANTA software. (Search torrent)
Convert the avi file into DVD.
Watch and enjoy.
I just did it. Its working. it will take 20 to 30 min to convert one AVI.

Follow the instuctions at www.vladd44.com/video/vodei.php
they are a little confusing (as I am a total nube when it comes to video editing, muxing,demuxing etc )but with a bit of experimentation , IT WORKS !
One thing is that I have installed vodei & ffdshow “codecs "
If you cant play the movie, you cant get the vodei rubbish out !
the movie I had required MP2.0 so even " nobbled " MP 1.09 would not work.
Give it a go & good luck

Spitzy Guest | Hey guys, i tried the http://www.vladd44.com/video/vodei.php solution. And it Worked up to the audio bit. The video was there, but i couldn’t extract the audio. I didn’t have the dump filter it said i needed. Then when i clicked on the link to get it, there is no such page. Where did you guys, who used this method get the dump filter from???? Thanks

AA112 Guest | I downloaded a video that required Vodei in order to run. I had never heard of Vodei
before and so after doing research I found a lot of people that had problems with it.
Then I read one blog where a single user counter-attacked all the people
(and there were more than just a few) who likened Vodei to spyware. This led me to believe
perhaps the program was just misunderstood and that maybe I wouldn’t run into any issues.
I decided then to download the program so I could watch a video I spent a lot of time
acquiring. I can tell you now that whoever wrote the positive entry praising Vodei has
financial or other incentives to get this product on as many people’s machines as possible
because this program will mess up your computer and will leave some nice software bugs when
you uninstall it (and you will be uninstalling it). Vodei is scamware – DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
