Rob M Guest | I don’t have an answer, only a similar issue. I have a digital camera that I’ve created some small windows movies, and I can’t upload them into Pinnacle Studio 8 software. I’ve gone to several sites to try to find conversion software, but I’m not even sure what it needs to be converted to? Are there any Pinnacle Software experts out there? I usually upload video footage through Pinnacle, but these were uploaded through the camera software, and are now on my computer. The software doesn’t recogninze the windows movies, and I’m wasting a lot of time trying to figure it out.
Thanks for helping a novice.

kia Guest | ok im kinda a noob but i think i can help you. first you need to convert your .wmv slideshow into dvd files by using WinAvi Video Converter (search for it on the forums on this site) you can use this program to convert the .wmv file into avi and then convert the .avi file into dvd files(.vob .ifo .bup), then using a program like Nero 6 or similar, copy all your converted dvd files into the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVDR disc and burn it. then you’re ready to play your dvd. this is also a good way to put avi movies you download off the internet onto dvd, its what i do and it works every time! :P email me if u get stuck!

Val Guest | I managed to burn a WMM movie of about 1.15 hours onto a DVD by using AOAmedia’s DVD Converter www.aoamedia.com/dvdcreator.html However, here’s my question. When I went to play my DVD on my television, I discovered that some of the video footage was blurry but, more problemmatic, some of the photo (and text) stills that I had incorporated into the Windows Movie Maker file were so enlarged that they were falling off the edges of the screen (I lost whole words on both sides of the screen, for example, including titles on the photo stills). I used the standard 4:3 aspect ratio when burning the DVD, so don’t know where the problem lies. Can anyone help, in simple language? Thanks.

tiff tiff Guest | After you finish your Slide Show in Windows Movie Maker,
go to File, Save Movie File, Movie Location to My Computer, name it and etc. When you get to movie settings, choose other settings and from the drop down, choose either High Quality (NTSC) or DV-AVI(NTSC). Either setting will be good for TV playback.
Then use either Roxio or Nero DVD Burning software and import the WMM or AVI movie file you created to be burned in that program.

Death666 Guest | You could use VSO ConvertXtoDVD.
Works very well.
Also, AVItoDVD works nicely but it takes a while.
