wow. it totally worked. all you had to do was download the codec ffdshow thing and it totally worked!
i dont have the ffdshow thingy, i dont even know where to download it!
Thanks you guys. This was the key to cracking my editing frustrations. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to edit my .avi on windows movie maker. Needless to say it was fixed in 1 short minute. You saved me. For those who are wondering where I went to download FFDShow go to http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm Thanks Dave21
i did what you said...i had to download and install the codec, and it will import my vids now, but when i play them, the vidio wond work. i get sound, but just a blank screen. so....i think the video part of the codec isnt working
I already found a solution in our problem!!. *FIRST of all download DivX/Xvid Codec. *THEN download FLV to Video Converter Pro 2. YOU KNOW IT WORKED VERY WELL
thanks from Turkey
While running the .avi file in Window Media Player, getting the error, “The file may be formatted with an unsupported codec,or internet security setting on your compuer is too hight”.
What is the workaround for this.
Thanks
Movie Maker 2 for XP doesn’t have any “compatibility” area under options or anywhere else. If anyone here DOES have that, can you tell me what version you are using?
Thx it works now, arigato gozaimasu
