If someone is having problems, download Combined Community Codec Package. it helped me with this problem, i had like 5 of my 7 videos screwed up in AVI format, and it fixed all 5 of them.

You can use quicktime to play an avi. file

I’ve downloaded a movie, which is 547mb. I can hear it, but can not view it. Why is that? Please help me as I am new to all of this.

I tried to play my 800mb movie that i downloaded from limewire that wasnt working in the divx player and i still get the error message invalid video file, yet the file extension is an avi, wot am i doing wrong?
