Open the file in GSpot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/)or AVICodec (http://avicodec.duby.info/) and see what they say about it.

hi everyone, I’ve d/l an WMV file from emule. Now WM Player say: extension does not match the file format. If I try to play anyway it don’t works. I’ve used all the well known player inkl. VLC. I am up to date with codecs. Nothing works. Any suggestions? Thank you!
